I’ve been using grasshopper for a couple years now, but I really have no idea how to approach this one. Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Mainly looking for how to achieve that formal variation.
Maybe Weaverbird’s Loop Subdivision and Picture Frame I guess. Then use particular parameters to decide sizes of openings, completing the gradually transition effect, e.g., distances between the faces and a line or brep.
A set of curves plus dendro plugin for meshing. Then weaverbird or mesh+ plugin for the opening areas.
