Record History doesn't work with Aliases - Bug?

Say you have assigned C as an alias for Copy, or AL for ArrayLinear,

Record History will not work when using C or AL, but it will work as expected when using the actual commands Copy or ArrayLinear.

This happens also when Record History is used once or always.

I don’t see that here. pls run _SystemInfo and post back the results.

Hi @Gijs ,
Very strange behavior
I captured screen C vs Copy. SystemInfo below;

RH-85379 History record fails

I only see it with one shot

I cannot replicate it with Always On… maybe I got confused…

P.S. If I may the Record History button could maybe use an improvement, to let the user turn it on and off by clicking it, instead of it automatically switching off.
Current way of choosing between one shot and always on is counterintuitive. Best would be a simple ON/OFF button…

that is how it currently works. If no command is running, it is a On/Off switch. If a command is running it is a single shot on/off switch
