Recomputing of Physical Sky Texture Enviroment


I really like Physical Sky Texture and I use it pretty often. However, there is one big disadvantage of having it in the file. Even it’s not in the use at the moment, and a different Environment is being used (with a different texture) changes to the Sun are still recomputing Physical Sky Texture which significantly slows down visible changes.

My wish: If Physical Sky Texture is in the file, but it’s not used in any visible viewport please do not recompute it when the sun changes. Recompute it only if it’s turned on.

It took me a while to figure out what is ruining my joyful moments when playing with the sun hour slider :slight_smile:
