Recent list

Is there a script that can scrub my entire local drive and USB drive for 3dm files and provide a basic image of the file? I don’t care if the list has 100, 500, or 1000 3dm files in it. I just want to be able to go to a local manager and see what I have.

Additionally, it would be nice if I could sort the files by name, date, location, file size, date created, and last date accessed in rhino. It would also be nice to have the ability to import associative files like revit and AutoCAD 2d into the list.

I looked at the current recent list and it’s TOO small.

In my opinion, there ought to be a 3dm file manager for all recent files and one could import and export the list.

Additionally, one could set up a worksession from this list and manage the files.

on mac os x there are smart folders
similar stuff seams possible on windows:

Yes, there is that option. There is an application Everything (https://www.voidtools.com/) as well, where custom filters can be made. However, a file manager to manage sessions and a much bigger, recent list are more efficient. I think.

I also use multiple file managers like dopus (https://www.gpsoft.com.au/) and image viewers like Faststone (https://www.faststone.org/) but require ghostscript for some files.
