Rebuilding a surface in grasshopper but using specific spacing

Attached is a Grasshopper file I found from a creator on YT that helps me create a basket weave pattern I needed, my issue lies in the fact that I would like the surface to be split / rebuilt on specific points (blue coloured) rather than just equal divisions using “divide surface” (red coloured)

Additionally, I wanted to add spacing between the curved “weave” pieces (yellow coloured) once baked, and have been racking my brain trying to figure that out.

I could solve this by “re-using” the loft you made (as first step to panel)
