Read only message when opening saved files Rhino 7

Hi I’m running Mojave on a Mac. Rhino just updated today, when I try to open my files I get a (read-only mode) message.
I did just installed a new hard drive on my Mac, does this have anything to do with the message.

if you save the file with a new name does it let you do so?

Hi, the message (Hld Opt key select Save As) came up with the latest update I downloaded today. that has worked, the original file is there so I always have as a backup.
