RDK Material issue

My apologies if this has been answered previously.

If I create an RDK material (Octane material in my case), then create a cube, assign material by Object, and select the RDK material from the dropdown, it’s form (as added in OnAddUserInterfaceSections()) do not appear under the dropdown. This is different from a Rhino material, where the user interface DOES appear under the dropdown. Is this the correct behavior?

Hi Paul,

It sounds like you are using Rhino 5. If so, then yes, this is the correct behavior. Rhino 5 cannot show an in-place material editor for non-basic materials. Rhino 6, however, will be able to.
