Hi

Will it be possible in the RDK (or RhinoCommon) to be able to access the Rhino preview panels to be able to add a new type? For external renderers this would be useful so that they could publish their render results to the Perspective panel for example (as Neon currently does).

Yes - this is possible in V6. However, at the moment, the display stuff is restricted because of some design issues in the DotNet SDK. But it will be possible to implement a raytraced display mode in V6.

Thanks Andy. I’m not sure if that is a Yes or No :slight_smile: I would like to host the OctaneRender viewport as you do with Neon (ie. in a preview panel). Is that (or will that be) possible in Rhino6 with RhinoCommon pls?
