Raytraced materials -opacity map

I tryed to render punching metal. Rendering preview can show a opacity map, but Raytraced view can’t. Why not?

I use Rhinoceros 6 and NIVIDIA RTX 2060.

I installed Rhino 7 beta. But, I can’t do it.

the right window is bitmap texture settings.


Sorry, I reset materials on Rhino 7 beta.
I can see punching metals on Raytrace mode.

The right way in v7 is to put the texture in the alpha channel of the Physically Based material.

In v6 opacity works more like transmission in Raytraced, like glass.
