My goal: animate this mesh appearing and disappearing. In the image below, the arrow in blue, is the direction of how I want to mesh to disappear. My aim is to have it disappear naturally, so in small subsections. A real-life case study would be similar to animating a flood map.
My first thought was use to mesh divide into small subsections then do something like this:
but the subdividing isn’t optimal and I wondered if anyone had any tips to subdivide complex geometry, or if in general, had a better method to do what am I aiming to do.
