R8 SBSAR Raytracing Bug - Intermittent Material Issue

I’ve got one single SBSAR material definition being used on two polysurfaces. (Huge thanks to @BrianJ for helping with the unwrap!). In Rendered view, it looks like this:

In Raytracing view, it looks like this:

There is a clear difference in color from top to bottom. If I change ANY parameter in the SBSAR definition, Cycles restarts and the problem goes away:

@nathanletwory any ideas here?

I’d add that this issue isn’t really intermittent - it happens every single time I switch to Raytraced, and the solution always works.

@sgreenawalt can you highlight where the difference is? I don’t know where to look in the two Raytraced images.
