I added 25 sublayers to a model and started moving items from the parent into them. I miss-clicked and “sorted” the layers. I used undo multiple in an attempt to get back to the original order and half the sublayers vanished from the panel while the rest were left in a random order. Nothing doing in Rhino to get them back but fortunately they reappeared after closing and reopening the file. Not in any useful order though (but all under the parent layer).
Is there an option to disable the potential to sort by column so that fumble-fingered users can avoid messing up like this? If not, apart from fixing the disappearing layers bug, could this be a feature request for the future?
EDIT:
Supplementary irritation: when dragging layers back into position they don’t always drop into the position indicated by the blue line. Often one slot above, occasionally one slot below.
