I would like to make a request for the following functionality on the Import Content component in GH.
In Rhino, you can import “brep style” geometry from other programs such as SketchUp very cleanly when setting the import options to use trimmed planes.
However, the GH Import Content node imports everything as Mesh by default which can lead to face loss, additional logic needed to convert to brep, etc.
It would be great to have the ability to set this from within GH to ensure the import coming in dynamically uses Trimmed Planes by default.
I have users and clients that have mixed tools in use where some designers are in Revit, some SketchUp, most Rhino, and getting a clean SketchUp file dynamically loaded into GH can really empower some solid interoperability.
