you can easily fix it if that is what you need besides reporting it. simply explode those messy curves, patch then will work.
If I explode it, I cannot use record history properly. I believe this is a bug because it is Rhino not behaving as expected, but yes there are certainly workaround.
This is a Garbage-In, Garbage-Out situation. The bug, if anywhere, comes from earlier in your process.
