For some reason, I cannot get R7 to produce a closed cross section vector like I can in R5, using Curve/FromObjects/Section. I don’t recall changing any settings in R5, it just worked from day one.
I made a little video here that shows what R5 produces vs R7. R7 is also several seconds slower than R5 using the same mesh, for whatever reason. I can work around this for now by grouping the mess that R7 made…
Does anyone have any ideas?
Also, for whatever reason - it seems that R7 DID produce a closed vector AND a series of open vectors transposed upon each other - the other day while I was working. I chalked it up as a fluke. I’ll try to reproduce it.
