R to L Drag selection trim not working

Right/Left selection trim does not trim. (Curves on same plane, intersecting, unlocked, ungrouped, not in block) Need to manual click to trim. Video attached.

Trim works normally in separate rhino file.

Maybe similar issue to: R to L Drag select to trim No longer works in latest Rhino 8 release

Hi Brian -

Does that mean that in a different file, right-to-left dragging works to select a part to be trimmed?

If so, please attach the file from the video.
Also, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste its output here.
-wim

Yes, in a different file, right and left click dragging works to trim parts.

Also ,deleting everything in the file makes trimming work again, but after undoing the delete the trimming stops working.

Hi Brian -

Thanks. This sounds very file-specific. Please post the 3dm file.

Hi Wim,

I tried to figure it out by deleting stuff and I believe it has something to do with clipping planes.
Here is the file:
RHINOCLIPPINGPLANEISSUE.3dm (2.0 MB)
Thank you for your help!

Thank you for that file, Brian.
It doesn’t look anything like the file in your video, though. From opening this file, which are the steps I need to take to reproduce the trimming issue?
