Question on Sub d with flowalongcrv

Does anyone know what happened? When I use FlowAlongCrv, the SubD points appear as follows… And if I edit in box mode, the model becomes even weirder…pls help

Thank you for your feedback. It looks this is a bug in Flow, and I will log it with our development engineers later. I have logged it with our development engineers.

Here is a temporary solution for you: you can use ExtarctControlPolygon + ToSubD to achieve your requirement, and for your reference.

Yes, it will lose the history.

looks like it makes a difference, wether flow is applied while box-mode or smooth mode is active

this also influences how history is updated !!
(history update in box mode is nice, while in smooth mode the nose-like shape appears)

my guess is also that the combination of crease and n-gon might be the source of some issues: (colored n-gon)

@kiga_ng did you check if flowAlongSrf has the same issue ?

This is flow along srf in smooth mode, you can see the distorted edge

then i edit the master in box mode , the edge becomes better from top view, but it’s going weird to the front view .
