Question about background image in PEN

Where is Rhino’s ‘library’? I’ve rooted around and can’t find it anywhere. Currently I’m looking for the background image used in the PEN style (so I can use it in the X Ray style) but I’d also like to know where Materials, etc. are stored. I’m sure it’s obvious but I can’t see it.

Thanks.

Render materials (Rhino render) are stored here:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\5.0\Localization\<language>\Render Content

As to the background for Pen, that is hard coded, so I don’t know if it’s accessible anywhere - the idea is that you’re not supposed to be able to modify it… I looked in the registry and even there there is no path to that image file, so I assume that it’s actually coded into the Rhino.exe itself…

I made those from 2D scans but I’m not finding the original files. It’s easy to get the background as a separate image though. use ‘-ViewCaptueToFile’ with nothing visible. Here’s a 2K version for you to use.
