Is Query Model Objects new in Rhino 8? If so, you may have discovered a shortcoming that can be fixed by the development team. Note that a Surface is only a Surface if it has no trims. Otherwise it is a Brep, even if it is only a single surface, not a polysurface. I can’t open your 3dm file in Rhin…

Rhino 8, and yes it’s a surface :slight_smile:

Better let @dale or someone else know that surfaces are not showing up in the new grasshopper component.
