Hello,
I am generating point clouds using DEM/GeoTIFF files in QGIS in order to create a terrain surface in Rhino. The process works fine except when the point data from QGIS gets to Rhino it is skewed and no longer orthographic data… I believe this may be because the CRS (Coordinate Reference System) in Rhino does not match that which is coming out QGIS. I’ve learned that coordinating the correct CRS when using GIS data is the trick to maintaining orthographically projected information.
My question is whether or not Rhino allows the ability to adjust its CRS to match the data coming from QGIS? Or if there is some other way to resolve this issue.
Any thoughts are helpful… thank you!
