I have question about Edge Softening - is it angle dependant ? Theres no info in manual about that.
It seams that it doesnt work below certain angle. I have slopes on building roof but roof i coated with bitumen so edges should be softened. I tried out also extractrender mesh and welding to taste but in this case nrm smoothing blurs totaly creases.
Any idea? I know i can use filets but i’d rather like easier - non destrictive workflow in this case.
Hi DW - I’ll fool around and test a little here but if the angle is shallow, the radius will need to be larger than you might expect to show - also, the radius is sort of relative in ‘EdgeSoftening’, not really accurate.
V6/WIP softens much more effectively at shallow angles in my quick tests just now.
