Hey all,
To start, I’ve definitely overcomplicated this assignment, but it’s been a lot of fun.
In my media course, a few of us are working with a mix of AI tools, Grasshopper paired with Arduino boards, and various sensors. The code is written, the controller is built, and this frame is set to fuse print tomorrow morning.
Where I’m stuck is on the mechanical side, specifically, how to connect the static push rod linkages at the red points. I’m currently working with two SG90 servo motors, with the horns oriented downward at the midpoint of rotation. Left and right correspond to 0° and 180°.
Does anyone have experience with linkage systems or suggestions for how I should connect these push rods? I’d really appreciate any guidance. I’m also open to alternative approaches if something simpler or more effective comes to mind.
Thanks in advance.
