If I select an object, then attempt to change its material through the properties window in a file that has a whole bunch of materials, there is no scroll bar on the side of the pull down material menu, so I can’t get to the materials further down on the list.

Actually, when I open your file, it only opens with one material. Here is what I’m seeing on my side with a file with a bunch of random materials after importing a bunch of stuff:
How about if it’s docked? I’m not sure why you only see one material but one thing at a time.
@andy , do you have any ideas here?
