Properties Tab Very Slow/Lag

Hello,

Recently upgraded to Rhino8. I noticed that when I have both the layers and properties tab open, selecting an object freezes Rhino for 0.5-2 second.

In a new file the input delay is felt even with just the basic layers and 4 simple rectangles. The issue is considerably worse with larger files.

One fix is to close the properties tab or simply not active (switching to Display for ex.). The issue completely disappears, and Rhino runs smoothly.

What I tried so far:

  • Using 1 monitor instead of 2 monitors
  • Updating my driver and doing a clean install (install > custom… > clean install)
  • Updating Rhino
  • Updating Windows

Sadly to no avail. Anyone has a similar issue and found a solution?

Thanks,

Here is my systeminfo:
