Properties panel floats when selecting text or hatches

Hello,

I have a weird bug/ problem with my properties panel. I will try to explain it in written text as good as i can.

When i select text or a hatch the properties panel opens in the middle of my screen as a floating panel, this is something i do not desire because i have this panel in my right side bar.

The moment i have this floating panel my sidebar panel has a empty colour fill and doesn’t show any information.

It is really annoying me at this point because i’m drafting at the moment.

I tried running rhino 6 (windows) as a Admin and reinstalled but the panel keeps floating on me.

I look forward to your reply’s and kind regards to reading my thread,

Rode

Can you run SystemInfo in Rhino and copy/paste the results here?

I would perhaps start by updating your video card driver, it’s from 2017.

@roderode043, you may want to try with Vray disabled, just to eiliminate that variable - disable Vray in Options > Plug-ins page, then close and reopen Rhino.

Ok, thank you for the reply’s.

Both suggestions don’t seem to work. Are there any more suggestions i can try out?

Hello - please also try with ClippingBox disabled in Options > Plug-ins page (Restart Rhino) and if that does not sort it, can you please make the bad thing happen, and then copy paste the command history text here -(F2 key, CommandHistory, for command history).
