Proper way to draw the bottom plate and counter top through Rhino.Inside?

I have the geometry shown on the screenshot all drawn parametrically in GH.

What is the proper way to draw the bottom plate and counter top shown on the screen through Rhino.Inside?

For the bottom plate highlighted in Red (Which is a sweep):
The idea is for it to be controlled by a profile family as it develops down the line. If profile family is the route, how do I draw this through Rhino.Inside so that i place that profile family and sweep it?

For the top counter:
Open to any suggestions.

Thanks in adavance!

Fast way - Direct shape
add information - Family (New component)
editable in Revit - adaptive family

Proper is always going to be contextual, depending on the project requirements and what you are inputting.

DirectShapes are great, but do have limitations.

Check out this script for doing a sweep in a family document [New GH nodes] Family.Extrusion by Profile, Extrusion.Attributes, Family.Parameter - #10 by lukabergs

I’ll see if i can get a handle on Caio’s issue in that thread in the meantime.
