Hello all. I am trying to project a curve onto a brep split by the split brep tool. For some reason the projected pattern is projecting onto the front and back half of the brep instead of just the front. I have no idea how to fix this except for maybe making the brep untrimmed but when the brep is untrimmed I can not use the split brep function. I have attached some images below.
It is useful for us if you post an example script.
Use Deconstruct Brep to retrieve just the surface of the BRep that is the front and apply Project Curve to it instead of the whole BRep.
Deconstruct Brep still has the same issue. I have attached the Grasshopper page again. Does this script show enough?
Can you lower the shirt profile so that if sits better on the body/ does not sit on the chin? If you can get the entire shirt projected as a closed loop onto the body, you can cull the other random curves for not being closed.
For some reason, when the two projections meet, they merge into one instead of overlaying. My end goal is to have the projection hug the edge of the front/back brep. Since the two breps merge instead of overlaying, the loop stays open even though it should be closed. I have attached another picture to show what I mean.
