Project wrap ( spherize )

Hello once again,
Is there a way to project the “blobs” onto the surface but as a wrap?
The regular project isn’t what i want because the blobs will be distorted.

I am doing this because i am going to print the blobs on that curved surface and I need to apply some distort in order to contradict the geometry (kind of apply a fisheye effect. In photoshop is the “distort > spherize” effect)

Can someone help me on how i can do it?
