Project to mesh creates unsatisfactory results

When i try to project curves to a mesh, i don’t get expected results. This was not a problem in Rhino5

can someone help?

It doesn’t seem to work very well in V5 either… Extruding your lines as vertical planes, meshing the planes and using MeshIntersect with the mesh planes and your revolve works better (but it’s slooowwww).
