Program transforms wrong object

Hi, all

Lately I’ve been having a problem with Rhino 6. For my work I am reconstructing a wooden ship and I am placing plank by plank in the hull. But when I want to edit an specific plank with the CageEdit tool for some reason the program is transforming the plank next to it. I don’t honestly why this is happening. The plank I want to transform is selected and the other one is not; in fact, the plank I don’t want to change it’s on a layer that is blocked, but still the program transforms this plank instead of the one I want. Is there a way to correct this issue?

Thanks for your time.

Can you create an example file with just the plank(s) that are transforming incorrectly (before the transform operation) plus the cage and upload it here with instructions to reproduce the problem?
