Problems with Rhino 8.8 TweenSurfaces

There are two problems with TweenSurfaces command. The first problem, illustrated in the following screenshot and model, is that new surfaces are much more narrow than original surfaces. The second problem is that the new surfaces are twisted and self-intersecting. I have to click the corners of the original surfaces for at least one minute to fix this problem. I have no clue which corners to click, so I click them randomly.

You will need to make the surfaces’ direction match. But I see that is not clear from the help file

Hello - you need ti make sure the corner point UI thing is aligned and not crossed.

Might be good that we add a way to flip the surfaces in the command

edit seems more like a display refresh issue:
RH-82782 TweenSurface: display refresh issue

I also find that “tweening” a “S” shape doesn’t make a satisfied result, the shape doesn’t look in between at some region.

Hello - I guess we’d need some more details - an example file.

-Pascla

It worked well after I aligned the original surfaces.
