Problems with "Make 2D"

Hi,

I have a problem with the “Make 2D” command. I tried to use it, but it fails.
Unfortunately it generates incomplete silhouettes as well as incomplete curves (grouped).
The silhouettes get better, if I change the tolerance, but the curves are still open or don’t exist.

Do you have an idea why it does not work?
