Problem with pan

I ran into a problem with my laptop which i usually use for modelling. So i decided to try out using my old computer to carry out my tasks. I installed rhino and it seemed to be working fine but when i tried to pan it just didn’t worked. Is it because my computer has very low computing capabilities or is there something else that can be done to solve this issue?

Hi
You haven’t provided much detail on which to make any guesses, other than you have less than the required RAM.

Let’s start by running the Rhino V6 “SystemInfo” command, and posting the results.
This will show what resources Rhino sees in your computer.

Is it safe to assume you have updated your “old” computer with all Windows updates?

Thanks

Sorry, but between inadequate RAM, Win 7, and the old graphics card and it’s ancient driver, that isn’t going to run well if at all.
As a result, that system is not supported.

Here’s a link to the System Requirements for Rhino:

Oh!
Sorry but i didn’t knew it only supported windows 8.1 and up!
Guess i will have to wait for my laptop now.
Thanks anyways !!

V6 will still install on Win 7 but since Microsoft dropped support, we have to as well.
In V7, the installer will refuse Win 7.
It’s time to retire the old computer. It probably worked just fine with Rhino V4 and 32-bit V5.
