Could anyone provide a Grasshopper (GH) file for the principal curvature lines network of gyroid surfaces? I am currently researching how to lay out asymptotic lines on minimal surfaces. Initially, I used Millipede to generate the minimal surface, but the resulting mesh was poor and irregular. I then used Patch to convert it into a surface and employed Bowerbird to generate the asymptotic lines. However, the asymptotic lines generated appear very strange. I suspect this is because the surface after patching is not a perfect minimal surface. Therefore, I am now seeking help. Is there anyone who could obtain or share a GH definition for the principal curvature lines of gyroid surfaces? I know many community members are highly skilled. a predecessor proposed the method of “Creating isothermal quadrilateral meshes from Kobe polyhedra to obtain minimal surfaces,” but my attempt at it failed. I sincerely hope experienced members can assist me.
