Hi!
I find that left sidebar opens wayyy too often . Could you please point me to a way to force-collapse (only expand when I click the Expand button), even if I’m running commands (e.g. Move) ?
I like to keep it collapsed all the time, since I’m just using the Rhino window to visualize GH’s output
But simple commands like Move will expand it. That shifts/collapses the viewing window, which is very disorienting.

A]: SolidWorks’ side bar is less annoying because:
- it’s put to good use. Feature trees always grow long enough to take all the space, in contrast to functions like Zebra or Move––their sidebar UIs take up less than 1/4 the space
- it stays collapsed, even if not having it gets in my way. It hurts to not see complicated features as a feature tree item, but when I need the maximum screen space, I can rest assured that simple operations like Move/sketch/extrude don’t force-expand the left side bar and move my entire view.
B] Blender’s feature-specific popup only takes as much screen space as its parameters need. It appears on top of the view window, rather than shifting/compressing it.
