I am trying to trim my floor plates with my column but I cannot cap my trimming Boolean as some of its edge curves are not planar so I cannot use the trim solid component. Is there any other way I can do this?

Maybe you could use the boolean split component instead.

If you want the column to take a chunk out of each floor plate then the column needs to be closed. You don’t show how you are creating the column, but that’s where you need to make a change and create the two missing sides.
