Problem joining SubD's and Cutting Sections

I’m trying to join two subD’s to form a hull and then cut sections to make BH’s

Joined SubD hull shoes to the topsides. One of the edges is a smooth join - no crease (near the bow). All other edges on the join are creased. I’m unable to edit the joins for creased or smooth. There are some pinch points along the join of the hull shoe to the topsides. This is where the crease meets the smooth join. (Top Image).
When I try to cut sections for the BH’s I get broken lines. I lot of work to join them up. Second Image.
So exported the SubD model to iges and imported to Maxsurf.
Then exported back to Rhino as iges. Section cuts are fine with nice unbroken line to make BH’s. (4th image)
Next step is to make the topside and hull shoe in one piece to eliminate the join. But the broken section lines are an ongoing issue.

post a file, or screen cap of the box mode? my guess is you have some verts that are not stitched which is what is causing the weird creases.

you can drag select the verts and see if the command line report one or two verts selected. If two, simply stitch them.

if one, try to uncrease that vert.

Thanks Kyle, You nailed it on the verts. Now have good model with all verts stitched but section cuts are still broken.

Bottom image is cuts from Sub D.

Upper image is cuts from Polysurface polysurface

Is it possible that not being a closed surface is the problem?
