Hi Pascal, I’ll have to explain in order to find out. For simplicity, if you have a surface rectangle in top view showing flat, then in right view you put a 1 degree rotate on it. So now it is not parallel with the cplane. Now I want to dimension it. The dimension is nit parallel with the surface but to the cplane. Can you help me understand how to mske the dims follow the part? Thank you, Mark
In the side or front view, you can dimension the edge with DimAligned.
I thought that I tried that using the align dim icon tool. Thanks
Remember that won’t do any good in the top view, though.
When I get in front of the compu again I’ll try some more obvious senarios and see if i’m over looking something.
