Printing the Clipping Plane Object (not clipping object)

Hi all,

I am getting to grips with the layouts features in my Trial of Rhino 8. (Previous Rhino 6 user here).

I cannot get the clipping planes to print within the rendered view of the detail within the layout. The “Show Clipping Planes” check box is enabled within the View >> Display Modes >> Rendered settings.

The Clipping Plane shows fine in the rendered detail of the layout, but when I go to print, to either PDF or to printer, the clipping plane is not visible.

Furthermore, there are options greyed out within the View >> Display Modes >> Rendered >> Objects >> Clipping Planes settings.

Hi, @da_new_guy… Welcome to the forum!

It’s an easy fix. In the Print dialog box, scroll-down to Visibility, then check Clipping Planes.

NOTE: It works for Clipping Planes & Clipping Sections.
