Printing shaded details

I am having problems with printing details that are in shaded mode. It appears that details set to shaded mode automatically rasterize the curves.The quality difference is especially noticeable when comparing rasterized curves against vector curves. Can curves remain vectors in shaded mode?

I’ve attached a test file that illustrates my problem.

Hi Lawrence - no, sorry, shaded details print in raster only as far as I know.
