I’ve been using Rhino 5/6 to create prototype models with my Form 2 SLA printer. I have a fairly consistent issue with Preform. If I have a tubular model or a solid with a through hole, preform always claims that my model is ‘broken’ and offers to repair it. When I let Preform ‘repair’ my model, the print fails. When I "ignore’ the error, it prints fine. Formlabs has no idea. Ignore seems to be an acceptable work around, but it still bugs me.
Does Check show errors on the mesh in Rhino?
I didn’t check
Well, you can often get errors of one sort or another on ‘clean’ geometry in Rhino, so that’s something to check.
