Print Width in Viewport?

Wondering what I have to do make this work as expected?

In Viewport, I have to set the Print Width up in the thousands to see any effect:

At Print Width: 1

At Print Width: 10

At Print Width: 100

At Print Width: 1000

ExportAll to PDF seems to shown them as I would have expected in the Viewport. ie Print Width of ‘2’ is moderate thick:

Is there a setting someplace to adjust the Viewport line type scale?

Environment:

  • Mac M1
  • MacOS Ventura 13.6.3
  • Rhino 8.6.24086.11002, 2024-03-26

The screenshots of the viewports seem ok to me. Looking at #4, that is how a line of 10m length with a width of 1000 mm (1m) should look.

Don’t know about the pdf, maybe the tick box “Apply Display Mode Scales” has something to do with it?

Thanks @maxz , Sorry - I wasn’t clear: at Print Width of ‘2’ the viewport doesn’t look anything like what it used to look like in Rhino 7, which is what I was expecting.

See side by side (RH7 | RH8):

same units, same physical size, same print width, both in ‘print-preview’ mode, but very different viewport results. So was wondering if I needed to adjust a setting someplace to make RH8 behave like RH7?
