Principal Stress Line in Kiwi3D

Hi,

I’m working on research relates to design a shell through principle stress line and fabricate by additive manufacturing (AM) technique of fused deposition modeling (FDM). Does the Kiwi3D plugin have the principle stress line component in the latest version? or Is it possible for me to extract this information from the analysis text file?

Hey,
it will be part of the new version, which we are releasing this week (before 1st February). It is integrated in the component “2d Element Results”. You will get the direction by a line and the length indicates the value. The coloring has to be added manually.
