# Preview grasshopper file in windows

Hi my friends  
I want to have a preview of the Grasshopper file in the Windows environment  
I don’t mean its connection environment, I mean the shape of the form I created  
Is there a way to do this?

There is not. Grasshopper files _may_ contain thumbnail images of the Canvas and the active viewport at the time of saving, but there are no applications which can extract those images and display them in Windows File Viewer to my knowledge.

Thank you for introducing this space, it solves the problem to some extent  
But are you sure that Windows shows the contents of the file?
