Port Grasshopper 1 to Grasshopper 2 plugin worthy now?

Hello mcneel people!

In the company where I work, I have been given an old gh plugin done in Grasshopper1 that would require some heavy refactoring, to the point that I almost need to redo it from scratch…

And here I am thinking: would it be worthy to redo it anyway but in GH2?

iow, are build template for c# available? Will the compilation of the component will change drastically from the current alpha?
