PopUpToolbar Breaks With Ctrl Shortcuts (8.0.23080.12305, 2023-03-21)

This may apply to RH-70733 as well.

I have some popups tied to Ctrl + WASD. Using a ctrl+ shortcut seems to degrade PopUpToolbar gradually until it stops working.

Ctrl+S activates the popup at first → flashes the popup → have to press Ctrl+S twice to activate and stay → Ctrl+S fails will only flash the popup.

Continued attempts at using Ctrl+S completely breaks it, leaving no way to activate it until you restart.

I see that too here. But I cannot make it break permanently.
I’ve added RH-73873 Ctrl + key shortcut to popup toolbar not working correctly

It’s a slow path to permanent breakage, but it gets there. Also, sometimes Rhino launches with popup toolbar already broken, but restarting fixes the issue.

I use popups a lot…like a lot, a lot. I try not to touch my KB when I model. I keep my left hand on the 3d navigator and my right on a Swiftpoint Z mouse. I use quick gestures on the mouse to pop-up context toolbars to execute commands.

RH-73873 is fixed in Rhino 8 Service Release 17
