This may well be already on the pile…? [too many long threads about popup to read through ]
And… it would be very wonderful to have an option for the Popup toolbar to pop with a transparent background.
It really ugly and obstructive now, not doing justice to the clean more modern feel of the new UI.
please consider adding an option for transparency [ it may have been requested before]

Does that happen on any toolbar, or only the popup toolbar?
The button background is the same across all toolbars, so this won’t be happening for v8. I’m not sure either how it will look and if it would be any better. Once this toolbar pops up, it needs to be in focus anyway, what will it solve for you that it mixes with the objects behind?

Gijs, I was not expecting any changes this late in the WIP… it just an eye-sore to me so had to comment.
I remember there were a lot of posts regarding the popup in the past.
Rhino has in GH since years, a very elegant popup manu, the gradient transparency is very nice the roundness of the arrangement is much better too. [and I’m sure that too has been mentioned before by others]
