I recently purchased a new MacBookPro M1 Max. I want to run Rhino 7 on it as, I’ve been running Rhino on my old mac in bootcamp…it would be great to get the program on the same platform as all my other apps. That being said, I’d like to make it as painless as possible. I have streamlined my modeling by having a robust PopUp menu that I’ve refined over the years. Is there anyway I can port that PopUp menu into the Mac version of Rhino. Has anyone else encountered this issue and if you have any suggestions, if one can’t port that file, how to rebuild your PopUp menu with the least amount of pain…thanks.
If you go to options and toolbars you will be able to “Export Groups” and then “import toolbars”. Mind you that is likely you end up having duplicate actions/buttons like Move, Move 00, Move 01. That’s why you might also need to change the default popup toolbar in mouse settings as well.
What I’ve noticed is that for every button I have added on my custom toolbar it creates a duplicate button instead of referencing it. So you don’t necessarily need to remove these duplicates.
