# Polysurface not splitting

Hi!  
So after all things got worked out on what’s shown in [this previous post](https://discourse.mcneel.com/t/help-subd-to-nurbs-conversion/174818), I now have a new predicament: I cannot split, boolean, trim, etc. the polysurface.

It’s a valid shape and it has no naked edges. Changing tolerance didn’t help.

Any ideas?

Hi Rene - intersection along the plane hits many of the face edges resulting un-clean curves - overlapping. This is a tough case - it should work but since it does not, I’d explode the object and split all the surfaces at once with the plane.

Luckly, I had the halved version converted from SubD to NURBS too, so I can just mirror and join:
