Points to Stabilize

Hi All,

St.gh (16.7 KB)

with this example I try to describe the intent I would like to pursue:

in the attached def we start with points divided into groups based on the order of the “X” axis, I identify 5 interested points where I connect a curve and as you can see, since the intermediate points are rotated, the graph is obviously not stable.

the intent would be that through the rotation of the 2 groups of intermediate points, they would stabilize together with the other 3 groups, so as to end up with the curvature graph without changes.

I imagine it’s not a very simple thing,
but I’m also hoping for some good suggestions to be able to work on it and reach the described goal.

Interesting.
Here is a re-wired definition, not a solution, just reorganized the wires to save time.

thanks for interest :+1:

for me she’s a tough nut to crack, maybe the Gh experts have all the means and knowledge to arrive at the solution without too much difficulty.

as far as I’m concerned, not only do I not know where to start, but I also have a couple of doubts about what the correct way to proceed would be. . .

hypothesis:
do I need to rotate the 2 entire groups individually as I did in the def, or move the 2 groups of points by sliding them in the direction of the generated curve?

(I lean towards the second hypothesis “obviously I think it’s more complex”)
